The C-TEC Disabled Toilet Alarm is the market leader as it includes everything you need in order to comply with BS8300 for an emergency assistance alarm. Easy to install and simple to use, the alarm allows a distressed person to raise an alarm in the event of an emergency, and although commonly used in toilets, are suitable for other environments, including changing rooms.
To operate, the user pulls the cord of the ceiling pull unit, which features triangular bangles for easy use by the infirm, and activates a light and sounder outside the room to raise the alarm. Disabled toilet emergency alarms are recommended in workplaces, shops, schools, leisure centres, hotels, museums, theatres, and other public buildings by the Disability Discrimination Act.
The pack contains a 12V single zone call controller with a 24-hour standby battery and relay, featuring a call accept button which allows staff to acknowledge the call and to signal that help is on its way. Also included is the ceiling pull unit, a reset point to cancel calls at the source with sounder, an overdoor light with sounder, and a disabled WC sticker.
Manufactured in the UK with a compact design which blends into your décor, C-TEC’s tried, trusted and respected NC951 disabled persons toilet alarm requires fixings, four core stranded security cable, and can be expanded to include other C-TEC 800-series devices.
